Here's a partial list of good things you can do while you are in the "social distancing", "shelter in place", or in "self quarantine" mode.
NPR has a recent article about shows, music, and sports you can now watch for free.
Our local museum, The Nolan Center Museum and Civic Center, s quite good, click here to see a virtual tour of the Tlingit Culture section.
They also have a Facebook page that has shared the latest exhibit, locally made quilts that are AMAZING, and the "Birds of Southeast" set up. Search Facebook, or click here.

University of Alaska Cooperative Extension Service has all kinds of webinars about gardening, check out the listings here.
National Gallery of Art is showcasing a different gallery each day, at the time of this writing they were showing Dutch painting of the seventeenth century, see it here.
Audible is streaming stories for free, check it out here.
Libraries, churches, and work-out facilities are doing live or canned streams, facebook live, or other platform delivery methods, check some of them out. Our library will be Facebook Live reading, Thursdays at 10:00am ADT. Here

Many online retailers are offering free shipping for the time being, check out your favorites to see what kind of bargains exist. Remember to support small business in this time of uncertainty.
AND, of course, there's always the option of getting your eyes off of the screen, and go out for a walk, a hike, a bike ride, a scenic drive, call a friend, do some artwork, and for us the never-ending boat projects.
Stay safe, and healthy out there, as in everyday, these are the best of times, these are the worst of times.
